Our message to you…
Here at Petite Hotels, our hearts go out to all those whose health is suffering from the Corona Virus sweeping around the world.
As people start to self isolate and quite rightly adhere to the government advice, we have had a significant amount of cancellations coming in over the past week. This unfortunately puts the livelihoods of our team under threat – with potentially devastating consequences.
The safety of our guests and staff are our main priority. Our valued team have and always will adhere to the highest possible standards in cleanliness and food safety. However, we have taken further measures to ensure we are doing our very best to help during this difficult time. That includes reducing the number of tables in our restaurants at Limestone & Lulworth Lodge, which creates more space between people and introducing multiple disinfectant cleans throughout the day.
If you are considering cancelling your booking – which is in August, my plea is to PLEASE remain optimistic. We offer free cancellation up to 7 days prior to arrival and in the light of the current circumstances, those with reservations within the 7 day period we are offering to move those reservations to any date within the next 12 months. For those who have reservations confirmed, please rest assured we are continuing to operate as normal and hoping the fantastic weather we have had today remains throughout the coming weeks.
I am personally doing everything I can to ensure we remain open in order to meet our financial commitments and pay our team. We have had so many messages and emails from our regular guests checking if we are still open and are ok. If you are working from home and have some spare time, now may be the perfect time to book your 2021 holiday or buy a gift voucher in preparation for your next visit. These are extremely difficult times and your support is greatly appreciated.
We will keep you updated on our socials. Follow Limestone Hotel, Lulworth Lodge & Lyme Townhouse on instagram or facebook (where we will keep you busy with quizzes, photos from the area and updates throughout these few difficult weeks).
Wishing you good health & happiness.
Edward J Wilkes
